What adapter do I need?

An OBD-II adapter compatible with the ELM327 chipset, connecting over Bluetooth or Bluetooth LE. Most passenger cars in the EU have an OBD-II port (petrol since 2001, diesel since 2004).

Bruum won't connect to my adapter

Make sure the adapter is plugged into the socket, the ignition is on, and Bluetooth on your phone is enabled. If the adapter was previously paired with another app, close it. If the problem persists, write to us with the adapter model.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and covers all account data (vehicles, trips, readings, settings). Details in the Privacy Policy.

How do I export my data?

Write to support@bruum.co from the email address linked to your account — we will prepare a GDPR-compliant data export.

Does Bruum replace a mechanic?

No. Bruum helps you understand your car's condition and make decisions, but it is not a workshop diagnosis or repair service. For serious faults, contact a mechanic.
